Refunds & Returns for Gym Equipment Australia - 24/7 Gym Equipment
Scope: This policy applies to purchases made via the 24/7 Gym Equipment website or over the phone. Orders placed via third-party marketplaces (e.g., eBay, Amazon, Catch) are subject to the specific return policies of those platforms.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
1. Change of Mind Policy
Strictly no refunds on the basis of change of mind so please think carefully before ordering.
Due to the size, weight, and logistical costs associated with shipping gym equipment, we do not accept returns if you simply change your mind, find a cheaper price elsewhere, or decide the equipment does not fit your space.
Cancellations Prior to Dispatch: Our fulfilment system is automated. Once an order is placed, it is often processed immediately. While we will attempt to intercept a cancellation request, if the order has arguably entered the dispatch process, it will be treated as a return (see below) and fees will apply.
2. Order Cancellations & Special Exceptions
While our policy is strictly no change-of-mind returns, if 24/7 Gym Equipment management grants a discretionary return exception, the following costs will be deducted from any potential refund:
Freight & Shipping Deductions

Return Freight: The customer is responsible for all costs associated with returning the item to our warehouse. We recommend using a trackable service with insurance.

Original Shipping Costs: Any "Free Shipping," "Capped Price," or "Subsidised Delivery" costs incurred by us to send the item to you will be deducted from the refund.
Non-Refundable Services & Labour
The following service costs are non-refundable in all circumstances:
- Installation & Assembly Fees.
- Call-Out Fees.
- Rubbish Removal.

Merchant Fees: Transaction fees (e.g., Afterpay, Zip, Credit Card fees) charged to us are non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.
Restocking Fees
If a return exception is granted, items must be returned in new, unopened, and resaleable condition. A restocking fee will apply:

Standard Orders: 15% restocking fee.

Commercial/Bulk Orders: 25% restocking fee.
Bundled & Bonus Items
If you return a product that was purchased as part of a bundle or included a "free gift" or bonus item, the bonus item must also be returned in new condition. If not returned, the full retail value of the bonus item will be deducted from your refund.
3. Damaged or Faulty Items
If your item arrives damaged or faulty, we will work with you to resolve the issue in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Reporting Damage (7-Day Limit)
You must inspect your delivery immediately upon arrival. Any visible damage to the packaging or product must be reported to us within 7 days of delivery. You must provide:
- Clear photos or video of the damage.
- Photos of the external packaging.
- Your order number.
Failure to report physical damage within 7 days may result in your claim being rejected, as we cannot verify if the damage occurred during transit or after delivery.
Assessment & False Claims
If an item is returned to us as "faulty" but is found upon inspection to be in full working order (or the issue was caused by user error/misuse), 24/7 Gym Equipment reserves the right to charge:
- The cost of the return freight.
- An assessment/technician fee.
- The cost to re-deliver the item back to you.
4. Items Excluded from Exceptions
Even in the event of a management-approved exception, the following items cannot be returned under any circumstances unless faulty:
- Customised or Made-to-Order items.
- Ex-Demo, Clearance, or Display models.
- Products that have been assembled, installed, or used.
- Items without a valid Return Authorisation (RA) number.
