A power rack (also called a power cage or full rack) is a four-upright steel cage that allows you to safely perform heavy barbell movements without a spotter. Adjustable horizontal safety bars are positioned below your lowest lifting point — if you fail a squat or bench press rep, the bar lands on the safety bars rather than on you. The rack measures 1290mm (W) × 1254mm (L) × 2303mm (H). For comfortable training with barbell loading clearance on both sides, we recommend a minimum training area of 2.4m wide × 2.4m deep. The rack stands 2303mm (230.3cm) tall — a minimum ceiling height of approximately 240cm is recommended for pull-ups and overhead press to allow full range of motion and comfortable clearance.
