What Is Westside Hole Spacing and Why Does It Matter?
Standard power racks use 50–75mm hole spacing throughout all uprights — meaning J-hook and safety arm height adjustments jump in 50mm increments. For squats this is fine. For bench press, where the difference between a safe unrack height and a failed rep catch height can be 25mm or less, standard spacing is too coarse.
