Leg Extension & Curl Attachment For XG75 & XG90 Functional Trainers, 75×75mm Upright Mount
The Leg Extension & Curl Attachment is a purpose-built add-on for the XG75 and XG90 functional trainers, designed to bring dedicated leg isolation training to your existing setup without purchasing a separate machine. It mounts directly to the 75×75mm uprights on compatible stations, converting your functional trainer into a two-in-one leg training unit in minutes.
If you already own an XG75 or XG90 and want to add leg extensions and leg curls to your programme, this attachment is the most practical and cost-effective way to do it. The seated position, padded shin roller, and adjustable resistance deliver the same isolated quad and hamstring stimulus you would expect from a standalone leg extension machine, but without the footprint or the price tag of a dedicated unit.
Built to the same construction standard as the XG series stations, this attachment is a genuine upgrade to your home gym or PT studio capability, not an afterthought. If you are serious about complete lower body development and already training on an XG75 or XG90, this is a logical and well-engineered addition.
Everything in the Box
Built for Leg Isolation on XG Series Stations
Compatibility & Fitment
This attachment is engineered to fit the 75×75mm square uprights found on both the XG75 and XG90 functional trainer stations. If you are unsure whether your existing unit has 75×75mm uprights, contact us before ordering and we can confirm compatibility.
The bolt-on design means installation requires basic tools and no permanent modification to your station. The attachment can be removed and remounted as needed, making it practical for PT studios that reconfigure equipment between sessions.

Pros and Cons
- Adds genuine leg isolation capability to an existing XG75 or XG90 without a separate machine
- Dual function: covers both leg extension and leg curl from one attachment
- Bolt-on design requires no modification to the base station
- Saves significant floor space compared to adding a dedicated leg extension machine
- Compatible across two stations, making it versatile if you upgrade from XG75 to XG90
- Cost-effective way to expand lower body training options
- Only compatible with XG75 and XG90. Will not fit uprights of a different size
- Weight capacity is dependent on the base station's weight stack and cable system
- Seated leg curl range of motion may be more limited than a dedicated lying leg curl machine
- Some assembly required for initial fitment to the upright
Who Is This For?
-
XG75 or XG90 owners who want to add leg isolation training If you already have an XG series station and want leg extensions and curls without buying a second machine, this is the direct solution.
-
Home gym users who are short on floor space Adding this attachment expands your training options without adding a dedicated unit and the footprint that comes with it.
-
Personal trainers running a PT studio on an XG series station Gives you a complete lower body isolation option for clients within the same training station, without a significant additional investment.
-
Lifters focused on quad and hamstring hypertrophy Leg extensions and curls are the two primary isolation movements for quad and hamstring development, and this attachment delivers both.
-
Rehabilitation and physio clients working on knee function Controlled seated leg extension and curl movements are commonly used in knee rehabilitation protocols. This attachment supports that application when used under appropriate guidance.
This attachment is designed exclusively for XG75 and XG90 stations with 75×75mm uprights. If your functional trainer or power rack uses a different upright dimension, this attachment will not fit and should not be ordered. It is also not suitable as a standalone unit. It requires an XG75 or XG90 base station to function. If you do not currently own one of these stations and are starting from scratch, contact us and we can recommend a complete setup.
Most functional trainers cover upper body, core, and cable-based lower body movements very well, but they do not deliver dedicated seated leg isolation. Squats, lunges, and cable pull-throughs are excellent, but they do not replace the direct quad and hamstring stimulus of a leg extension or leg curl. Rather than buying a separate leg machine and using up another metre of floor space, this attachment slots into your existing XG station and closes that training gap directly. It is a practical addition for anyone who is serious about complete lower body development and already training on compatible equipment.

The XG90 All-In-One Functional Trainer with Smith Machine is a complete commercial-grade strength station that combines a counter-balanced Smith machine, dual 90kg pin-loaded cable stacks, a power rack, multi-grip chin-up handle, weight plate holders and integrated attachment storage — all in one heavy-duty steel frame. Built with 3" x 3" uprights using 11-gauge stainless steel and 12-gauge structural steel, the XG90 is engineered for serious daily loading. This all-in-one version ships with the full cable attachment bar pack and cable accessories included, so the machine arrives ready to train every major movement pattern without any additional purchases.

The machine-only version does not include any of these items. Both machines share the same heavy-duty frame, dual 90kg cable stacks and counter-balanced Smith system.

Common Questions About the XG90 All-In-One
Cable Attachment Pack — XG90 4-Piece Cable Bar Set | Straight Bar · Cambered Bar · Small Grip Frame · Aluminium Pull-Down Bar | XG90 Functional Trainer | Australia
The XG90 Cable Attachment Pack is a curated 4-piece set of cable bars designed specifically for use with the XG90 Commercial Functional Trainer. The pack includes a straight lat bar, cambered bar, small grip frame and aluminium pull-down bar — covering the full range of pulling, pressing and isolation exercises your XG90 is built for. Each piece is built from commercial-grade materials with a chrome finish, matching the quality standard of the XG90 machine itself.
A functional trainer is only as versatile as the attachments connected to it. This 4-piece pack gives you a standard lat bar for heavy pulling, a cambered bar for wrist-friendly rows and pulldowns, a small grip frame for close-grip and isolation work, and a premium aluminium pull-down bar — everything you need to run a complete upper body programme from your XG90.
4 Bars. Every Cable Movement Covered.
The standard lat pulldown and cable row bar — a must-have for any cable machine setup. The straight bar is the go-to for lat pulldowns, straight-arm pulldowns, cable rows, tricep pushdowns and bicep curls. Smooth chrome finish with knurled grip zones for secure hand contact under heavy load. The workhorse of any cable attachment collection.
The cambered (curved) bar allows a more natural wrist position during lat pulldowns and cable rows — reducing wrist and elbow stress compared to a straight bar, particularly on wide-grip movements. The angled ends allow a grip position that better aligns the forearm with the line of pull, making it a preferred choice for users with wrist sensitivity or those chasing a deeper lat contraction.
A compact close-grip attachment designed for tricep pushdowns, close-grip pulldowns, cable curls and face pulls. The smaller frame width encourages a neutral or semi-pronated grip position — shifting emphasis toward the inner back and triceps. Particularly effective for isolation exercises where a full-size bar is unnecessarily wide. A high-frequency attachment that earns its spot in every session.
A lightweight, full-length aluminium pull-down bar — the premium option in the pack. The aluminium construction reduces the dead weight of the bar itself, keeping the load focused on the cable stack rather than the bar. At 1225mm wide, it accommodates a range of grip widths from shoulder-width to wide-grip positions. The smooth surface and larger diameter provide excellent grip feel for high-rep pulldown sets.

Premium J-Hooks & Safety Spotter Arms — 4-Piece Barbell Safety Set For XF10 (XC10) Functional Trainer Smith Machine All-in-One | Solo Training Safety | Australia
The Premium J-Hook & Safety Spotter Arm Set is a complete 4-piece barbell safety system for the XF10 (XC10) Functional Trainer Smith Machine All-in-One. The set includes one pair of heavy-duty J-hooks for barbell racking and unracking, and one pair of safety spotter arms with a protective catch surface to stop the bar if you fail a rep. Both pieces pin directly into the XF10 and G6S upright system (50mm x 70mm uprights) at any height position — no tools, no modification. Built from commercial-grade steel with a matte black powder-coat finish matched to the XF10 frame, this set is the essential safety foundation for solo barbell training on squats, bench press, overhead press and rack pulls.
2 J-Hooks + 2 Spotter Arms — What Each Does
J-hooks are the barbell catch brackets that hold the bar at your starting (unrack) position. You load the bar, set the J-hooks at the right height, unrack the bar to begin your set, and re-rack it when finished. The hook profile catches the bar collar securely between sets.
- Sets the barbell starting height for each exercise
- Holds the bar securely between sets and during loading
- Pin-adjustable to any upright position on the XF10
- Protective inner liner prevents bar knurling damage
- Used for squats, bench press, overhead press & rack pulls
Spotter arms are horizontal catch bars set just below your lowest working range. If you fail a rep, you lower the bar onto the spotter arms rather than being trapped under it. They are the safety net that makes training to failure without a spotter possible.
- Catches the bar at the bottom of a failed rep
- Set one hole below your lowest safe range of motion
- Raised safety lip prevents bar rolling off during a catch
- Bolt-lock collar eliminates lateral movement under load
- Multi-hole adjustment — precise height setting for each exercise
J-hooks and spotter arms are always used together — one positions the bar, the other catches it. Purchasing the 4-piece set ensures the finish, fit and pin dimensions are matched to the XF10 frame as a system. It also means you have both components ready to configure for any exercise from day one — no sourcing parts individually or discovering a mismatch after purchase.

The Right Set For
- Solo trainers lifting heavy on the XF10 — J-hooks and spotter arms are the safety system that makes training to failure on squats, bench and press possible without a training partner present
- XF10 owners upgrading or replacing hardware — if your current J-hooks or spotter arms are worn, damaged or you want a matched premium set, this is the correct compatible replacement for the XF10 (XC10)
- PT studios and commercial facilities running the XF10 — clients train unsupervised between sessions; this complete set provides the catch system that makes the rack side of the XF10 genuinely safe for independent use
- Strength and powerlifting athletes — training to failure on compound movements requires a reliable safety catch system; the bolt-lock collar and raised spotter lip on this set are built for the forces involved in a real failed rep under maximum load
- Home gym owners who train without a spotter — the most common reason home gym users avoid heavy pressing and squatting is the absence of a catch system. This set eliminates that limitation.

Pull-Up & Chin-Up Bar Attachment — Overhead Bodyweight Station Optional Add-On for XG90 Commercial Gym Station | Top-Mount | Australia
The Pull-Up & Chin-Up Bar Attachment is a compact, heavy-duty overhead bar that mounts to the top of the XG90 uprights to create a dedicated pull-up and chin-up station. The H-frame mounting design locks securely across both uprights using the machine's existing hardware points, positioning a knurled grip bar overhead for pull-ups, chin-ups, dead hangs and hanging core work. A clean, no-frills overhead pulling station — built from commercial-grade steel with a matte black powder-coat finish matched to the XG90 frame.
No cable machine, lat pulldown or row replicates the full-body coordination and stabiliser recruitment of a weighted bodyweight pull-up. The overhead bar attachment makes this fundamental movement available at your XG90 without a separate pull-up tower — keeping your training space consolidated and your overhead position always accessible.

Barbell Stow Rack — Frame-Mounted Barbell Storage for XG90 & XG75 (G25)
Barbell Stow Rack — Frame-Mounted Barbell Storage for XG90 & XG75 (G25)
Barbell Stow Rack — Frame-Mounted Barbell Storage Optional Add-On for XG90 Commercial Gym Station & XG75 (G25) | Australia
The Barbell Stow Rack is a heavy-duty steel mounting bracket that attaches directly to the XG90 or XG75 (G25) frame to provide a dedicated, off-the-floor barbell storage position. Rather than leaving your Olympic barbell on the floor between sessions or propped against a wall, the Stow Rack keeps it securely mounted to the machine — accessible, protected and out of the training path. Built from the same commercial-grade steel as the XG90 and XG75 machines, with a powder-coated matte black finish that matches the machine frame perfectly.
A barbell left on the floor is a trip hazard, a scuffed floor and a bent collar waiting to happen. The Stow Rack solves this by keeping the barbell off the ground and mounted to the machine frame — where it belongs. In PT studios and commercial facilities, it keeps the training area clean and professional. In home gyms, it frees up floor space and protects both the bar and the flooring between sessions.

The Right Add-On For
- PT studios and commercial gyms — keeps the training floor clear and professional between client sessions; barbell always stored safely at the machine rather than propped against a wall
- XG90 and XG75 owners who use a barbell regularly — if you load the Smith machine or rack J-hooks frequently, having the barbell stowed on the machine eliminates the constant floor pickup and reduces floor scuffing
- Home gym owners with limited space — frees up valuable floor space by moving the barbell off the ground and onto the machine frame where it is out of the way but always accessible
- Anyone concerned about gym safety — a barbell on the floor is a trip hazard in a busy training environment; the Stow Rack eliminates the risk by keeping it secured to the frame at all times

Cable and Pulley System — How It Works
The XG90 uses CNC aluminium pulleys and a dual cable ratio system that pairs the correct mechanical advantage to each exercise type. Total cable travel distance is 215.9cm (85 in) — covering the full range from low floor pulls to high overhead movements. Loading the machine correctly from day one requires understanding which ratio applies to each exercise.
XG90 Attachments — Sold Separately
The XG90 is a modular platform. Every attachment below bolts to the same frame so you can build out your station progressively without adding floor space. Start with the machine and the included starter cable set, then add the hardware your programming requires.

S901 Pro Leg Press & Hack Squat Machine | 4-in-1 Commercial Combo (500kg Rated)
S901 Pro Leg Press & Hack Squat Machine | 4-in-1 Commercial Combo (500kg Rated)
Stop choosing between a leg press machine and a hack squat machine. The S901 Pro delivers a complete lower body training solution in one commercial-grade unit — without sacrificing floor space. This plate-loaded leg press and hack squat combo is engineered for serious quad and glute development in high-end home gyms, PT studios, and commercial facilities across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Australia-wide.
Built on a reinforced commercial steel frame with a 500 kg maximum combined load rating, the S901 transitions seamlessly between four distinct lower body exercises: 45-degree leg press, hack squat, forward-facing squat, and calf raises — replacing four separate machines in one compact footprint.
S901 Pro — Commercial plate-loaded leg press and hack squat combo. On display at our Milperra Sydney showroom.
What Does the S901 Do? — 4 Machines in 1 Unit
The S901 combines four distinct lower body exercises into a single space-efficient machine, making it the most versatile leg training solution for Australian commercial and home gym environments:
45-Degree Leg Press
The angled sled reduces spinal compression compared to vertical pressing, allowing heavier loads with improved safety. Targets quads, glutes, and hamstrings through a full range of motion.
Hack Squat
Load the sled in reverse for a hack squat position — providing a quad-dominant squat pattern with back support. Ideal for athletes who want depth and tension without axial spinal loading.
Forward-Facing Squat
A unique third configuration that mimics a barbell squat pattern with the stability and safety of a guided machine. Excellent for lower body hypertrophy and rehabilitation training.
Calf Raises
The multi-position footplate allows stable loaded calf raises — targeting the gastrocnemius and soleus with heavy plate-loaded resistance that cable machines cannot match.
Why Choose the S901 Over Separate Leg Press and Hack Squat Machines?

Quick Fact Sheet
💡 The Space & Cost Savings Are Significant
A standalone commercial leg press costs $2,000–$4,000. A standalone hack squat machine costs another $1,500–$3,000. The S901 replaces both — plus adds forward squat and calf raise capability — in a single footprint of just 1065 mm wide. For PT studios and home gyms where floor space is money, this is the smart commercial decision.
Is the S901 Suitable for a Commercial Gym or PT Studio?
Yes. The S901 is rated for commercial-frequency daily use. Its 500 kg combined load rating and reinforced steel frame meet the demands of high-turnover commercial environments including PT studios, school gyms, corporate wellness centres, and full commercial fitness facilities. The adjustable safety stops allow confident solo client training, and the plate-loaded design means there are no resistance caps limiting elite athletes or powerlifters.
Plate Loaded vs. Pin Loaded Leg Press — Which Is Better?
| Factor | Pin Loaded Leg Press | S901 Plate Loaded |
|---|---|---|
| Max Load | Limited by stack (usually 100–150 kg) | Unlimited — add any Olympic plates |
| Speed of Change | Fast — move a pin | Manual plate loading |
| Progressive Overload | Limited to stack increments | Unlimited increments |
| Feel | Consistent, friction-free | True free-weight feel |
| Best For | Circuit training, high reps | Strength, powerlifting, heavy hypertrophy |
| Longevity | Cable/stack wear over time | Minimal moving parts — highly durable |
For athletes focused on maximum strength, powerlifting, or heavy hypertrophy, a plate-loaded machine like the S901 is the professional choice. The unlimited loading potential and free-weight feel cannot be replicated by a pin-loaded stack.

Build Quality — What Makes the S901 Commercial Grade?
The S901 frame is constructed from heavy-gauge reinforced steel tubing, engineered to distribute the 500 kg combined load across the full frame rather than concentrating stress at single weld points. This is the key differentiator between commercial-grade machines and cheaper domestic alternatives — which typically use thin 1.5–2 mm steel and fail under sustained heavy loading. The S901 is built to handle daily use in high-turnover commercial environments for years without frame fatigue. The 45-degree sled angle is not arbitrary. It is the optimal engineering compromise between spinal loading and quad/glute recruitment. A vertical leg press places excessive compressive force on the lumbar spine. A shallower angle reduces the effective loading on the muscles. At 45 degrees, the S901 allows users to train with maximum safe loads while minimising the risk of lower back injury — making it suitable for both elite athletes and rehabilitation clients. The S901's adjustable safety stops can be set at any depth along the travel path, preventing the sled from descending beyond a safe range. This allows solo training to absolute failure without a spotter — critical for PT studios where clients train independently and for home gym users who train alone. The racking handles allow the user to safely exit the machine at any point in the movement.Reinforced Steel Frame & Load Path Engineering

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. The S901 is designed specifically as a commercial-grade machine with a 500 kg combined load rating and a reinforced steel frame built for high-frequency daily use. It is suitable for PT studios, school gyms, corporate wellness facilities, and full commercial fitness centres across Australia. It depends on your training goals. A plate-loaded leg press like the S901 offers unlimited loading potential and a true free-weight feel — ideal for strength training, powerlifting, and heavy hypertrophy. Pin-loaded machines offer faster weight changes, making them better suited for circuit training or high-rep PT sessions. For serious strength athletes, plate loaded is the professional standard. The S901 uses Olympic 50 mm (2 inch) weight plates — the standard for all commercial gym equipment. Standard 25 mm plates will not fit. If you need plates, we stock a full range of Olympic bumper plates and iron plates available separately. Yes. The multi-position footplate allows stable positioning specifically for loaded calf raises, targeting both the gastrocnemius (full extension) and soleus (bent knee variation). The plate-loaded resistance provides far heavier calf loading than cable or bodyweight alternatives. The S901 has an assembled footprint of 2192 mm (L) × 1065 mm (W) with a height of 1892 mm. We recommend at least 600–800 mm of clear space at both ends of the machine for safe entry, exit, and plate loading. Total recommended floor allocation is approximately 3.5 m × 2.5 m. Yes. The powder-coated steel frame is designed to handle the heat, humidity, and dust conditions common in Australian garage and home gym environments. Regular cleaning and occasional lubrication of the sled runners will maintain performance long-term. Yes. Every model — the XG75, XG90, XF10 and G6S — is pin-loaded for fast weight changes, suits home gyms, PT studios and commercial gyms, and is on display at our Milperra NSW showroom.
How to Choose Your Machine
All four models are commercial-grade, pin-loaded, and suit home gyms, PT studios and commercial facilities. Choose based on your space, stack weight preference, and whether you need dual-sided access.

Commercial Gyms & Multi-User
Need users training front and back at once? The XG90 is the flagship model — perfect for busy commercial floors and high-volume studios.
Compact Home Gyms
Limited floor space? The XF10 fits tighter footprints but still delivers dual 90kg stacks and full functionality.

What Is a Functional Trainer with Smith Machine?
It's an all-in-one trainer (also called a multi functional trainer) that combines three machines in one frame: a functional trainer — dual adjustable cable pulleys for crossovers, pulldowns, rows and functional movements; a Smith machine — a guided barbell on fixed rails for safe heavy squats and presses without a spotter; and a power rack with J-hooks and spotter arms. From one station you cover compound lifts, cable isolation and functional work — the most space-efficient way to build a complete home or commercial gym.

Functional Trainer FAQ
An all-in-one gym station combining three pieces of equipment in one frame: a dual adjustable cable pulley system, a guided Smith machine barbell, and a power rack with J-hooks and spotter arms. All four models — XG75, XG90, XF10 and G6S — suit home gyms, PT studios and commercial gyms.
The XG75 is our most popular — stainless steel 75×75×3mm uprights, dual 90kg pin-loaded stacks (180kg total), 34 cable positions, aluminium sealed-bearing pulleys, 10-year frame warranty. For dual-sided commercial use, the XG90 is the top option. All four are on display at our Milperra NSW showroom.
A pin-loaded trainer has a built-in stack adjusted by a pin — change weight in seconds, ideal for multi-user gyms and circuit training. A plate-loaded trainer uses individual Olympic plates for higher maximum loads but slower changes. All four of our functional trainers are pin-loaded.
Cable ratio is how the weight on the stack relates to the resistance felt at the handle. A 2:1 ratio means felt resistance is about half the set weight — smoother, faster cable movement. A 1:1 ratio means felt resistance equals the set weight. The XG75, XG90 and XF10 use 2:1; the G6S offers selectable 1:1 and 2:1.
Allow a minimum 3.5m × 3.5m floor area and 2.4m ceiling height — standard in most Australian homes and garages. The XG75 measures 2000mm (W) × 1340mm (D) × 2200mm (H). Call 1300 247 888 with your dimensions for a free layout assessment.
Yes — all four suit commercial gyms, PT studios and home gyms, and all support multiple users. The XG90 is dual-sided, so users train front and back at once. Built to commercial spec with sealed-bearing aluminium pulleys and a 10-year frame warranty covering commercial use. Contact us for bulk pricing.
