24/7 GYM EQUIPMENTCOMPLETE CARE, MAINTENANCE & ASSEMBLY GUIDE Quick Navigation PART 1: Product Care Guide Barbells Weight Plates Dumbbells & Kettlebells Cleaning New Rubber Benches Power/Half/Squat Racks Treadmills Exercise Bikes Strength/Cable Machines Wall/Slam/Medicine Balls Storage Racks Gym Flooring PART 2: Assembly & Maintenance Lubrication Guide Assembly Tips PART 1: PRODUCT CARE GUIDE To prolong the life of your 24/7 GYM EQUIPMENT, it is important that your gear is routinely cleaned and regularly maintained. Regular maintenance allows equipment to continue to perform at its optimum for longer. Warning: As a general rule, avoid harsh cleaning chemicals and do NOT use hand sanitiser directly on equipment as this can deteriorate rubber and metals. Any damage caused by careless storage in locations with extreme sun exposure or water damage may void your warranty. Cleaning vs. Disinfecting (Important) Cleaning: Removes sweat, dirt, and organic matter. Do this first. Disinfecting: Kills germs. Do this second if necessary. Method: Always apply cleaner or disinfectant to a cloth first, then wipe the equipment. Avoid spraying liquids directly onto joints, bearings, consoles, or electronics. Dry: Always wipe away residue to prevent corrosion. BARBELLS Chalk, dirt, and skin build up in the knurling, attracting moisture and causing rust. Use a nylon or brass brush to scrub the fine knurling. Daily Maintenance: Wipe barbell after each workout to remove sweat or dust. Monthly Maintenance: Clean entire barbell monthly to minimise build-up. Oil the sleeves if necessary. Always dry your barbell after cleaning to avoid rusting. WEIGHT PLATES Daily Maintenance: Wipe around the diameter and across the face of the plate after workouts. Monthly Maintenance: Clean entire weight plate to minimise corrosion. Avoid Dropping: Do not unnecessarily drop plates on concrete. This degrades the coating. Tip: Always store plates on a rack. Do not stack them damp. DUMBBELLS AND KETTLEBELLS Daily Maintenance: Wipe down handles and weights. Scrub knurling to remove bacteria and skin cells. Monthly Maintenance: Clean entire unit. Inspect for coating damage (chips/cracks). HOW TO CLEAN OIL FROM NEW RUBBER DUMBBELLS & WEIGHTS (Applies to Bumper Plates and Hex Rubber Dumbbells) New rubber often has a factory release oil to prevent cracking during shipping. It is safe to remove. ✅ What You Should Use: Warm water mixed with mild dish soap (pH neutral). Microfibre cloth and a dry towel. Steps: Dampen cloth with soapy water (do not soak). Wipe the rubber surface thoroughly. Wipe again with a clean, damp cloth (water only). Dry immediately with a towel. Let air dry. 🚫 DO NOT USE: Bleach, Ammonia, Degreasers, Alcohol, Acetone, or High-pressure water. These will dry out the rubber and cause cracking. BENCHES Daily Maintenance: Wipe upholstery after every workout. Ensure bench is stable and does not rock. Monthly Maintenance: Inspect for loose hardware. Tighten bolts as they can work loose over time. Check upholstery for tears. POWER/HALF/SQUAT RACKS Racks should be kept in an enclosed environment, free from exposure to the elements. Regularly wipe down chrome uprights to remove sweat and prevent corrosion. Daily Maintenance: Wipe down all surfaces. Inspect for noisy or damaged components. Re-adjust levelling feet if the rack rocks. Monthly Maintenance: Inspect the entire unit for loose hardware (uprights, handrails, frame). Tighten bolts that may have worked loose. Check J-Hooks and Spotter Arms for wear on the protective plastic. TREADMILLS Dust and debris under the motor cover affect performance. Daily Maintenance: Wipe down console and handles. Inspect for unusual noises. Monthly Maintenance: Check oil reservoirs (if applicable). Wipe and dry the running belt. Lubrication: Ensure belt is greased with 100% silicone (do not over-lubricate). Alignment: Ensure the running belt is centred. Cleaning: Switch off and unplug, then clean under the motor cover. EXERCISE BIKES ELLIPTICAL / UPRIGHT / SPIN BIKES Daily: Wipe down console, seat, and handles. Ensure unit is level. Monthly: Check tightness of pedals and cranks. Tighten all frame bolts. Clean the "sweat zone" thoroughly. AIR BIKE Daily: Clean fan cover, seat post, and exposed drivetrain parts. Check pull pins. Weekly: "Pedal test" for creaks. Tighten crank, bell crank bolts, and handlebar pivot nuts. Monthly: Check chain tension. Torque pedals. Quarterly: Lubricate chain (every 2 months). Check seat stability. STRENGTH/CABLE MACHINES Daily Maintenance: Wipe down handles, bars, seats, and pads. Monthly Maintenance: Apply 100% silicone spray to guide rods, pulleys, and pulley sliders. Check cable tension and bolt tightness. Lubricant: Use 100% silicone only. Do not use WD-40 or grease on guide rods. WALL/SLAM/MEDICINE BALLS Use on rubber flooring or carpet only. Wipe down after every workout. Ensure inflation needle is lubricated before inflating. Do not slam "Non-Slam" (Wall) balls. STORAGE – RACKS & HOLDERS Wipe down weekly to prevent dust build-up. Tighten assembly bolts monthly. GYM FLOORING Maintenance Schedule: Weekly: Sweep away chalk. Vacuum. Mop with damp nylon/microfibre mop. Quarterly: Deep clean/scrub. DO NOT: Soak the floor (water damages subfloor), use abrasive pads, or use bleach/vinegar. PART 2: ASSEMBLY, MAINTENANCE & LUBRICATION GUIDE General instructions for 24/7 GYM EQUIPMENT multi-functional trainers and smith machines. 🔧 Maintenance and Lubrication Guide Perform every 1 to 3 months. Guide Rods and Linear Shafts Apply silicone to linear shafts. Lubricate weight stack guide rods. Lubricate pulley slider rails. Clean: Wipe old residue from rods/shafts with a dry cloth. Lubricate: Apply silicone lubricant to a cloth, then wipe evenly along the rods. Move the weight carriage up and down to distribute. Pulleys and Bearings Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to pulley bearings. If noisy, inspect the center bearing by removing the pulley bolt. Cables Inspect weekly for fraying, kinks, or broken strands. Replace immediately at first sign of wear. If cables feel uneven, inspect the routing and pulley alignment. 🛠️ Assembly Tips (All Models) Tools: Have Allen keys, Spanners/Sockets, Screwdrivers, Rubber Mallet, and Spirit Level ready. Technique: Install all bolts loosely first. Only tighten fully once the frame is squared and aligned. Safety: A second person is recommended for lifting heavy frames. 🧱 G3S Plate Loaded Functional Trainer Frame: Build base frame (do not tighten yet). Attach rear uprights, then front uprights. Smith System: Insert guide rods, attach linear bearings/carriage, then mount the bar. Pulleys: Install top cross brace. Mount pulleys and route cables to plate loading arms. Accessories: Install plate storage, dip handles, and pull-up bar. Finalize: Tighten all hardware sequentially. 🧱 G6S Smith Machine + Functional Trainer Prep: Separate frames, pulleys, and dual weight stacks. Frame: Assemble base and uprights. Weight Stacks: Position stacks, install guide rods and selector mechanism. Smith & Cables: Install Smith rails/bar. Install crossover pulleys and route cables. Finish: Install pull-up bar and accessories. Tighten all bolts. 🧱 G25 Multi Functional Trainer Base & Uprights: Assemble bottom rails, stabilisers, and vertical frames. Smith System: Install guide rails and fit Smith bar bearings. Cable Towers: Install adjustable pulley towers. Route cables to weight stacks. Completion: Install selector rods, pins, accessories, and tighten all bolts. 🧱 XC10 Functional Trainer Smith Machine Sort: Identify pulley towers, Smith posts, and cross beams. Structure: Assemble floor frame and uprights. Insert guide rods and Smith carriage. Cabling: Install upper/lower pulleys. Route cables loosely. Resistance: Install weight stack or plate loading system.
