The half ball balance trainer is a compact, dual-sided piece of equipment for core strength, balance and stability training at home, in a PT studio or in a rehabilitation clinic. Use it dome-side up for balance and stability work, or flip it flat-side down for a more advanced stability challenge, then clip on the detachable resistance bands to add upper-body pressing, rowing and rotational movements without changing equipment.
Built from anti-burst, latex-free PVC and rated to 150kg, it is suited to home gyms, Pilates and yoga studios, physiotherapy clinics and personal trainers working across a range of client needs. If you are comparing balance trainers for a home gym or studio setup, this section covers everything you need to know before you buy.

Who Is This For
Who Should Buy This Half Ball
Home gym ownerswho want to add balance and core training without extra floor space.
Pilates and yoga studioslooking to extend mat-based sessions with instability and resistance band work.
Physiotherapy and rehab clinicsneeding a standard tool for ankle, knee and hip balance retraining.
Personal trainerswho want one versatile piece of equipment across functional, rehab and HIIT programming.
HIIT and circuit trainersafter an instability challenge to add to bodyweight conditioning finishers.
Who should not buy: if you need heavy resistance training rather than light to moderate band work, a dedicated cable machine or set of resistance bands with higher tension would suit you better. If you have significant balance concerns or a recent lower-limb injury, work with a physiotherapist before training on an unstable surface unsupervised.
Short on space for a full home gym setup? The half ball packs away easily and works on tiles, timber, hardwood or a rubber gym mat, giving you a genuine balance and core training tool without needing a dedicated equipment room.
A half ball is a dual-sided balance trainer used for core strengthening, stability training, balance exercises, rehabilitation, Pilates and HIIT workouts. Used dome-side up, the curved surface challenges balance and engages stabiliser muscles. Flipped flat-side down, it creates a more advanced instability challenge. The detachable resistance bands add upper-body pressing, rowing and rotational movements without changing equipment.
Yes. Half balls are commonly used by physiotherapists and sports medicine practitioners for balance retraining, ankle stability and progressive core strengthening after lower-limb injury or surgery. The anti-burst construction and latex-free materials make it suitable for clinical and home rehabilitation settings. Always consult your physiotherapist for progressions appropriate to your specific condition.
Dome-side up is the standard position: your feet or hands rest on the curved dome, creating an unstable surface that challenges balance and trains ankle and knee proprioception. It suits beginners and rehabilitation users. Flat-side down inverts the challenge, the flat platform becomes the unstable surface, significantly increasing the difficulty. It is recommended for advanced athletes and experienced trainers progressing their balance work.
This half ball is rated to 150kg, suitable for the majority of users in home gym, PT studio and light commercial settings. The anti-burst PVC construction means that if the dome is punctured, it deflates gradually rather than collapsing suddenly, an important safety feature for balance training equipment.
Yes. The non-slip textured base is designed to sit securely on tiles, hardwood floors, timber, carpet and rubber gym flooring. For extra floor protection on premium hardwood or polished concrete, placing a rubber gym mat underneath is recommended, this also helps prevent marking or scuffing during dynamic movements.
Yes. The unit ships with a hand pump for inflation, two detachable resistance bands and a valve plug. It arrives partially deflated for compact, safe shipping. Inflation takes approximately 5 minutes with the included hand pump, and the resistance bands clip on and off the anchor points with no tools required.
Yes. The dome, base platform and resistance bands are all completely latex-free, making this half ball suitable for users with latex sensitivities or allergies, and appropriate for clinical settings, schools and mixed-user fitness studios where latex-free equipment is required.
Yes. 24/7 Gym Equipment delivers to all Australian states and territories, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Canberra, plus regional areas. Yes. The half ball works well in HIIT circuits and conditioning sessions because the unstable surface increases muscle activation compared to the same exercises performed on flat ground. Common cardio exercises include burpees on the dome, jumping jacks, mountain climbers and squat jumps, each recruiting more stabiliser muscles while raising heart rate.
The detachable resistance bands allow standing rows, chest press, shoulder press, bicep curls, tricep extensions, woodchop rotations, pallof press and lateral raises, all performed while standing on the dome for an added balance challenge. Bands can also be anchored at foot level for assisted stretching and hip flexor mobility work.

320KG rated. The commercial spec that most adjustable benches can't match. Most adjustable gym benches in Australia are rated to 250KG. This commercial FID bench steps up to 320KG — covering elite-level lifters, PT clients of all sizes and commercial environments where the bench is in use all day. That extra 70KG of rated capacity isn't a marketing number; it reflects heavier steel, tighter welds and a frame built to outlast the alternatives.
How It Compares
Commercial FID Bench vs Standard FID Bench — What's the Difference?

✓ This Bench — Commercial FID 320KG load rating. Larger 147cm × 69cm frame. 40KG bench weight — more steel, less flex. Heavy-duty powder-coat commercial finish. Built for daily high-frequency use across multiple users. The spec used in professional PT studios and commercial gyms across Australia.
Standard FID Bench Typically 250KG load rated. Smaller, lighter frame. Suitable for home gym use and recreational lifting. Lower bench weight means lighter steel. Fine for moderate-frequency use; less suited to commercial environments with high daily user turnover.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common Questions
This is a commercial-grade adjustable FID bench rated to 320KG — 70KG higher than most standard adjustable benches in Australia. It also has a larger frame (147cm × 69cm), a heavier bench weight of 40KG (more steel, less flex) and a heavy-duty powder-coat finish built for daily multi-user commercial environments. It is the spec used in professional PT studios and commercial gyms.
This bench supports a full programme of exercises: flat and incline dumbbell bench press, decline bench press, dumbbell shoulder press (seated upright), incline dumbbell flies, single-arm dumbbell rows, decline sit-ups, ab crunches, dumbbell pullovers, Bulgarian split squats and hip thrusts. The 6-position backrest covers every pressing and pulling angle across chest, shoulders, back and core training.
For most recreational lifters, 250KG is sufficient. The 320KG rating becomes relevant for commercial gyms and PT studios where the bench is in daily use across multiple clients of different sizes and strength levels, and where the frame needs to absorb repeated loading over years rather than months. The higher rating also reflects heavier steel construction, which means less flex and a more solid feel during heavy dumbbell pressing at any weight.
Most strength coaches and sports scientists recommend 30–45 degrees for incline dumbbell press to maximise upper chest recruitment without over-involving the anterior deltoid. The 6-position backrest covers both of these angles — use the low incline setting (approximately 30°) for chest emphasis and the mid incline (approximately 45°) for a balanced chest and shoulder press stimulus.
Yes — this bench is specifically designed for commercial use. The 320KG load rating, heavy-duty steel frame and powder-coat finish are all built for high-frequency daily use across multiple users. It suits PT studios, commercial gyms, CrossFit boxes and strength facilities throughout Australia.

Commercial Half Power Rack 300kg Capacity — Engineered for Australian Garage Gyms and PT Studios
The Commercial Half Power Rack is a purpose-built lifting station for serious home gym owners, personal trainers, and small studio operators who want the stability of a full power cage without the footprint. At 2303mm tall, it is specifically engineered to fit comfortably under a standard 2.4m Australian garage ceiling — a compromise that many imported racks simply do not account for.
Built from 60mm x 60mm structural-grade steel, this is not a rack to outgrow. The uprights are laser-cut with 26mm holes at 50mm spacing, giving you fine-tuned adjustment for squats, bench press, overhead press, and every compound lift in between. The 595mm extended spotter arms provide a genuine fail-safe for solo training, not just a token safety feature. If you are comparing this to lighter-gauge alternatives or basic squat stands, the structural difference is immediately apparent.
Read on for the full specification breakdown, what is included, exercise capability, and honest pros and cons to help you decide whether this rack suits your training setup.

What Sets This Rack Apart
60 x 60mm Structural Steel Uprights 2.0mm wall thickness — the same section size used in commercial gym environments
300kg Load-Tested Capacity Independently rated — not a manufacturer estimate based on static testing alone
595mm Extended Spotter Arms Long enough to catch a failed squat or bench press from any point in the lift
Laser-Cut 26mm Holes at 50mm Spacing Fine adjustment increments for dialling in exact bar height — no compromise positions
2303mm Engineered Height Designed specifically for 2.4m Australian garage ceilings, not adapted from overseas specs
1200mm Internal Width Sized for a standard 7-foot Olympic barbell — sleeves clear the uprights during re-racking
Integrated Pull-Up Bar 32mm diameter grips — suitable for pull-ups, chin-ups, and hanging core work
Powder-Coated Finish Durable black coating over the full frame for corrosion resistance and appearance
Elongated Base Frame (1845mm) Wide footprint provides freestanding stability without floor bolting in most applications
Integrated Plate Storage Horns Two 45mm horns keep the gym floor clear and plates accessible during training
Build Quality Note: The uprights on this rack use 60 x 60mm steel at 2.0mm wall thickness — a meaningful step above the 50 x 50mm or thinner-walled steel common in budget power racks. The base frame uses 50 x 70mm rectangular tubing, which provides lateral bracing and resistance to front-to-back rocking under heavy loads. The 1845mm base length is longer than most racks in this class, which reduces the need for floor anchoring during standard use. For permanent installs on concrete flooring, the pre-drilled anchor points make securing the rack straightforward.
Freestanding Stability — What to Expect
1845mm elongated base provides a wide stance that resists tipping under normal training loads
50 x 70mm base tubing adds rigidity that thinner rectangular sections cannot match
Pre-drilled anchor holes allow floor bolting to concrete or timber for permanent installations
300kg rated frame — the structural capacity comfortably exceeds what most lifters will ever load
Well-suited for solo training without a spotter when spotter arms are correctly positioned

Pros and Cons
Pros
300kg load-tested capacity — well above most home gym requirements
60 x 60mm upright section is a genuine commercial-grade spec, not a marketing claim
2303mm height fits standard Australian 2.4m garage ceilings with appropriate clearance
595mm spotter arms provide a real safety margin for solo lifting
Laser-cut 26mm holes at 50mm spacing allow precise bar height adjustment
1200mm internal width correctly sized for 7-foot Olympic barbells
Integrated pull-up bar adds a bodyweight training option at no extra cost
Freestanding stability from the 1845mm elongated base — floor bolting optional
Compact half-rack footprint uses significantly less floor space than a full cage
Cons
No rear uprights — does not fully enclose the lifter, which some prefer for safety redundancy
Machine weight to be confirmed — may require two people for delivery placement and assembly
Assembly required — plan for a few hours with a second person to assist
Does not include a barbell, weight plates, or a bench — these are required for most exercises
Not suitable for very tall lifters performing overhead press if ceiling clearance is at the minimum
Buyer Fit
Who Is This Rack For?
Home gym owners with a standard 2.4m garage ceiling who need a rack that actually fits without modifications or a raised slab
Serious lifters who train solo and need a reliable spotter arm setup for heavy squats and bench press without relying on a training partner
Personal trainers running a small studio who want a durable, commercial-grade rack that holds up to daily client use across multiple sessions
Powerlifters and strength athletes who need fine-tuned bar height adjustment and a 300kg-rated frame to handle progressive overload programs
Lifters moving on from squat stands who want the added security of fixed uprights and spotter arms but do not have room for a full cage
Anyone fitting out a compact gym space where every square metre counts and a half-rack footprint makes sense over a larger cage
Not the Right Fit?
Who Should Look Elsewhere
If you want a fully enclosed cage with four uprights and rear safety bars on both sides, a full power rack would be a better match. This half rack provides excellent front-facing safety but does not replicate the fully enclosed environment of a cage. If you are primarily looking for a cable machine or multi-station unit rather than a dedicated barbell platform, take a look at our functional trainers instead. And if ceiling height is below 2.3m, we would recommend measuring carefully and speaking with our team before ordering.
Common concern: "Will this rack actually be stable without bolting it to the floor?"
For most training scenarios, yes. The 1845mm elongated base and 50 x 70mm rectangular tubing give this rack a wide, rigid footprint that resists movement under standard lifting loads. Most customers use it freestanding without issue. That said, if you are training on a polished concrete floor, lifting very heavy, or installing in a commercial environment with high daily use, we do recommend using the pre-drilled anchor points. The hardware for floor bolting is not included but is a standard concrete anchor bolt available from any hardware store. If you are unsure, our team is happy to talk through your specific floor type and training load.

Yes. At 2303mm tall, this rack is designed specifically for standard Australian residential garages with 2.4m ceilings. You will have approximately 100mm of clearance above the top frame, which is comfortable for the structure itself. Keep in mind that if you plan to do heavy overhead press movements, your own height plus the barbell path may require additional clearance above 2.4m. We recommend measuring your space before ordering and contacting us if you have any doubt.
For most home gym applications, yes. The 1845mm elongated base and 50 x 70mm rectangular base tubing give the rack a wide, rigid footprint that handles standard training loads without floor anchoring. Most users run this freestanding without issue. If you are training on a smooth or polished surface, lifting at the extreme end of the weight capacity, or installing in a commercial setting with very high daily traffic, we recommend using the pre-drilled base anchor points for added security. Anchor hardware is a standard concrete bolt available from any hardware store.
We recommend a 7-foot (2.2m) Olympic barbell. The internal width of this rack is 1200mm, which is specifically sized so that a 7-foot bar's loadable sleeves clear the uprights when the bar is racked and unracked. A 6-foot bar may work for some movements but can feel cramped. We do not recommend shorter bars for squats or bench press with this rack. Browse our full range of barbells if you need to add one to your setup.
A half power rack has two uprights at the front and an elongated base, giving you open access from the rear and sides. A full power cage has four uprights and fully encloses the lifter. The half rack uses less floor space and allows easier entry for overhead pressing and Olympic lifting. The full cage provides rear safety bars as an additional failsafe. If you train solo with heavy loads and want the maximum redundancy, a full cage is worth considering. If space is limited and you are comfortable using correctly positioned spotter arms, a half rack is a strong and practical choice. View our power rack range to compare both options.
The Commercial Half Power Rack ships with: a pair of J-hooks, a pair of safety spotter arms (595mm), an integrated pull-up bar, two weight plate storage horns, and all assembly hardware and an instruction manual. A barbell, weight plates, and a bench are not included and are required for most exercises.
It is well suited to both. The 60 x 60mm upright construction and 300kg rated frame are specifications you find in commercial environments, not just home gyms. Personal trainers running small studios use this rack regularly for client programming across multiple sessions per day. For a large commercial gym with dozens of users simultaneously, a purpose-built multi-rack setup may be more appropriate. For a PT studio or semi-private training space, this rack is a strong and durable option.
The rack footprint is 1200mm wide by 1845mm long. For comfortable training, allow additional clearance in front of the rack for stepping in and out, and behind for loading plates. A practical minimum training zone is approximately 2.5m wide by 3.5m long, which accounts for the rack itself plus safe working space. If you are working with a tight garage layout, contact us and we can help you assess whether the dimensions suit your space.
Yes. A professional assembly and installation service is available for customers in the Sydney metro area. Visit our installation service page for pricing and to add it to your order. If you are outside Sydney, the rack ships flat-packed with a clear instruction manual and most customers complete assembly with two people in a few hours.

Yes. This rack is on display at our Sydney showroom at 10/202 Milperra Road, Milperra NSW 2214. We are open Monday to Friday 9am–5pm and Saturday by appointment. Visiting the showroom is worthwhile if the steel gauge, footprint dimensions, or overall build quality are important factors in your decision. You can call ahead on 1300 247 888 or send a message on WhatsApp to +61 412 029 000 to confirm the rack is currently on the floor.
This rack comes with a 1-year warranty.
That depends on how you define value. There are lighter and less expensive squat racks on the market. What this rack offers that cheaper alternatives typically do not is 60 x 60mm upright steel at 2.0mm wall thickness, a load-tested 300kg capacity, and 595mm spotter arms with proper catch depth. Budget racks often use thinner-walled steel, have shorter spotter arms, and carry lower weight ratings. If you are training seriously with progressive overload and lifting heavy, the structural margin this rack provides is a meaningful difference. If you are a beginner lifting light weights, a more basic rack may suit your needs for now.
To use this rack for barbell training you will need: a 7-foot Olympic barbell, weight plates (bumper or standard), and a flat or adjustable bench for pressing movements. Gym flooring is strongly recommended to protect your floor and reduce noise. We carry all of these at 247 Gym Equipment. Browse our barbells and rubber gym flooring to build out your setup.
The uprights feature 26mm diameter holes at 50mm centre-to-centre spacing. This is a standard commercial specification and is compatible with most aftermarket J-hooks, safety arms, and accessories designed for 26mm holes. The 50mm spacing gives you finer adjustment increments than the 75mm or 100mm spacing found on budget racks, which is particularly useful when dialling in bench press or squat bar height.
At 2303mm total height, the pull-up bar sits at the top of the rack. In a 2.4m ceiling garage, you will have approximately 100mm above the top frame. For pull-ups and chin-ups, this is generally sufficient provided you are not very tall and do not require a full dead-hang start position. Taller users or those who prefer a full range of motion from a dead hang may find the clearance limiting in a 2.4m ceiling. The bar itself is rated to 150kg user capacity and has a 32mm diameter suitable for most grip widths.
Delivering across Australia: The Commercial Half Power Rack ships from our Sydney warehouse to customers throughout New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, the ACT, and Tasmania. We regularly deliver to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Wollongong, Hobart, and regional areas across the country. If you are outside a major metro area, contact us for a freight quote before ordering and we will confirm costs and estimated transit times to your postcode.

15KG Olympic Barbell with 120KG Bumper Plate Package Complete Olympic Barbell Set With Weights | 15KG Bar + 6 Rubber Bumper Plates + Lockjaw Collars | Australia
This Olympic barbell with 120KG bumper plate package is a complete Olympic barbell set with weights, built for anyone setting up a home gym, garage gym or studio from scratch. It pairs a 15KG Olympic barbell (28mm knurled shaft, 50mm sleeves, rated to 500LB / 227KG) with a full set of six rubber Olympic bumper plates (2×15KG, 2×20KG, 2×25KG) and a pair of Lockjaw quick-release collars, for 120KG of total loadable weight in one order.
Rubber bumper plates protect your floor and cut down noise on every rep and drop, which matters if you are training in a garage, townhouse or shared building. This bundle is supplied as a complete barbell weight set rather than separate components, so there is no need to source a bar and plates individually or check sleeve compatibility yourself.
Below you will find the full specification, what is included, honest pros and cons, and answers to the most common questions buyers ask before purchasing an Olympic barbell set with weights in Australia.

Why buy a complete Olympic barbell set with weights instead of separate parts? Sourcing a barbell, bumper plates and collars individually generally costs more than buying them as a package, and there is always a risk of buying a bar or plate that is not actually compatible. This 120KG bundle gives you a full working weight range, from around 45KG (bar plus the smallest pair of plates) right up to the full 120KG, covering the major compound lifts for beginner through intermediate training without an immediate follow-up purchase.

Build Quality and Plate Construction
The barbell uses a chrome finish over a solid steel shaft, with a 28mm diameter that suits most lifters across squats, presses, rows and deadlifts. The 50mm sleeves rotate to reduce wrist strain on barbell cycling movements such as cleans and snatches.
Each bumper plate is rubber-coated around a steel hub, with a 50mm centre bore matching the Olympic sleeve standard. The rubber compound is dense enough to handle regular dropping from overhead and floor-level positions without premature wear.

Who Is This Best For?
The Right Olympic Barbell Set For
Home gym beginnersA complete first weightlifting set covering every major compound lift, with no need to buy a bar and plates separately or check compatibility yourself.
Garage gym owners building from scratch120KG of rubber bumper plates protects concrete floors and keeps noise down for early morning and late night sessions.
CrossFit athletes training at homeRubber bumper plates are the standard choice for Olympic lifting at home, and this set covers common plate sizes used in WOD programming.
PT studios adding equipmentA complete barbell and plate set for client strength training without sourcing components individually.
Intermediate lifters topping up an existing setupThe 15KG, 20KG and 25KG spread fills gaps in an existing plate collection for finer load increments.
Anyone comparing barbell weight sets before buyingIf you have been searching for an Olympic barbell set with weights and comparing options against general retailers, the 50mm Olympic standard here ensures full compatibility with serious strength equipment, not just entry-level home gear.
Who should not buy this set: if you are after a barbell heavier than 15KG for serious powerlifting, or you specifically need iron plates rather than rubber bumper plates, this bundle is not the right fit. It also does not include a bench or rack, so if you need a fully supported squat or bench press setup on day one, budget for those separately.
Worried about comparing this against a cheaper "barbell weight set" from a general retailer? Many lower-cost barbell weight sets use 25mm or 30mm standard bars and basic vinyl or cast plates that are not Olympic-compatible. This package uses the full 50mm Olympic sleeve standard throughout, the same standard used in commercial gyms and CrossFit facilities, so it will continue to work with any power rack, squat stand or functional trainer you add to your setup later.

An Olympic barbell set with weights is a bundle that includes an Olympic barbell (50mm sleeves, typically 15KG or 20KG) along with a matching set of weight plates and collars, sold together as one package. This 120KG package includes a 15KG Olympic barbell, six rubber bumper plates (2×15KG, 2×20KG, 2×25KG) and a pair of Lockjaw collars, giving you everything needed to start strength training without buying components separately.
The package includes 1 × 15KG Olympic barbell (28mm shaft, 50mm sleeves, 500LB rated, chrome finish), 2 × 15KG rubber bumper plates, 2 × 20KG rubber bumper plates, 2 × 25KG rubber bumper plates, and 1 pair of Lockjaw quick-release collars. Total loadable weight is 120KG when the bar and all plates are combined.
It is a strong choice for home gyms because it covers the full 50mm Olympic standard, includes rubber bumper plates rather than basic iron or vinyl plates, and gives a working weight range from around 45KG up to 120KG. Whether it is the best fit for you depends on your goals: if you train mainly Olympic lifts or CrossFit-style sessions, the rubber bumper plates and 500LB-rated bar are well suited. If you need a heavier 20KG competition bar specifically, a different bar may suit better.

Many lower-cost barbell weight sets sold by general retailers use 25mm or 30mm standard bars with vinyl-coated or basic cast plates that are not Olympic-compatible. This package uses a full 28mm shaft, 50mm Olympic sleeve standard and rubber bumper plates throughout, the same standard used in commercial gyms, so it stays compatible with power racks, squat stands and functional trainers if you expand your setup later.
Rubber bumper plates are Olympic weight plates with a full rubber coating that absorbs impact when the bar is dropped or set down. They protect concrete, timber and rubber flooring from damage, reduce noise during drops and reps, and can be dropped safely during Olympic lifts, which you should not do with cast iron plates. They are the standard plate type used in CrossFit facilities and Olympic weightlifting gyms.
This package is primarily designed and priced for home gyms, garage gyms and small PT studios. The bar and plates are built to a solid commercial-style 50mm Olympic standard, but for a high-traffic commercial gym floor, we recommend speaking with our team about higher-volume commercial plate options.
Yes. The 15KG bar allows technique development at a manageable weight before adding plates, and the three plate sizes give progressive loading from 45KG up to the full 120KG. The rubber bumper plates also make it safer for beginners learning Olympic lifts where dropping the bar is part of the movement. Pairing this set with an adjustable bench and squat rack will unlock the full exercise library.
Yes. All plates use the standard 50mm Olympic centre hole that fits all Olympic barbells and power rack J-hooks designed for Olympic bars. They will not fit standard 25mm or 30mm bars, only Olympic 50mm equipment.
Not for every exercise. Deadlifts, Romanian deadlifts, rows, cleans, overhead press from the floor, barbell hip thrusts and floor press can all be done with just the barbell and plates. To access the full exercise library, including supported squats, bench press and rack pulls, you will need a power rack or squat stand and an adjustable bench.
At a minimum, allow enough floor space for the barbell length (around 2.2 metres) plus clearance on both ends for loading plates and standing safely during lifts such as deadlifts and rows. If you plan to squat or bench press, you will also need space for a rack or bench, and adequate ceiling height for overhead movements.
Yes. This package ships Australia-wide via tracked freight due to the combined weight of the bar and plates. Depot pickup is also available from Derrimut in Melbourne or Archerfield in Brisbane. Contact our team for an exact delivery estimate to your postcode.

Vertical A-Frame Dumbbell Rack153cm Angled Tier Storage For Hex Dumbbells
The Vertical A-Frame Dumbbell Rack is a space-saving storage solution designed to keep a set of hex dumbbells organised, off the floor, and easy to grab mid-session. The frame stands upright in an A-shape, with each pair resting in its own angled storage notch along two sloped rails, so you get a tidy, organised dumbbell zone in a fraction of the floor space a horizontal rack would need.
It suits home gym owners working with limited floor space, personal trainers who need dumbbells within arm's reach during a session, and commercial or studio operators who want their free weight area to look organised rather than scattered. Standing 153cm tall on a 70.5cm wide, 50cm deep base, it holds up to 10 pairs of dumbbells upright against a wall or in a corner, with each angled tier keeping every pair visible and easy to reach without crouching.
Important: this listing is for the rack only. Hex dumbbells are sold separately, so read on for full details on what is included, the confirmed dimensions, and how to pair it with a set from our dumbbell range.

Why Choose This Dumbbell Storage Rack
Angled A-Frame DesignTwo sloped rails meet at the apex, with each dumbbell pair resting in its own angled notch along the frame.
Compact 70.5cm Wide BaseUses a fraction of the floor length required by a traditional horizontal dumbbell rack, ideal for tight home gym corners or busy studio floors.
Stable 50cm Deep FootprintThe wider base depth keeps the rack planted and resistant to tipping once loaded with a full dumbbell set.
Every Pair Visible At A GlanceThe angled tier layout keeps all weights in view, so you are not digging through a stack to find the right pair.
Suits Home and Commercial SettingsWorks equally well in a home gym, a PT studio, or a commercial free weights area.
Flat-Pack DeliveryShips flat-packed Australia-wide, keeping freight costs and handling more manageable than a pre-assembled unit.
Build quality. The frame is constructed from steel in an A-frame profile, standing 153cm tall on a 70.5cm wide by 50cm deep base for a stable, non-tipping footprint once loaded, and weighing 14kg. Exact steel gauge and load rating per tier are being confirmed with our supplier and will be updated on this listing once verified. If you need these figures before ordering, contact our team on 1300 247 888 and we will confirm directly.

Who Is This For
Who Should Buy This Dumbbell Storage Rack
Home gym owners short on floor spaceWant their hex dumbbells stored tidily in a 70.5cm wide footprint rather than dedicating a long wall or floor run to a horizontal rack.
Personal trainers running 1:1 or small group sessionsNeed dumbbells within easy reach and clearly organised by weight during a session.
Commercial gym operators tidying a free weights zoneWant a compact, professional-looking storage option for a dumbbell area.
PT studios and functional training spacesAre working with a smaller footprint and need vertical rather than horizontal storage.
Anyone upgrading from loose or floor-stacked dumbbellsWants a proper rack solution to reduce trip hazards and floor clutter.
Who should not buy this. If you are after a complete package that includes both the rack and a set of dumbbells in one purchase, this listing will not cover that as it is rack only, so check our dumbbell range separately. If your available floor space is under 70.5cm wide by 50cm deep, or your ceiling height limits access to a 153cm tall rack, measure carefully before ordering. If your existing or planned dumbbell set includes heavier pairs beyond typical hex dumbbell ranges, confirm compatible weight range with our team first, as this is still being finalised for this rack.
The problem with loose dumbbells. Dumbbells left on the floor or stacked on a low shelf are a trip hazard, make it harder to spot the pair you need mid-set, and tend to spread out across a gym over time. This vertical A-frame rack solves that by giving every pair a fixed spot on an angled tier, arranged in order and stored upright rather than sprawled across the floor. It is one of the simplest ways to make a home gym or training space feel properly set up rather than improvised.

No. This listing is for the vertical A-frame dumbbell rack frame only. Hex dumbbells are sold separately, you can browse our dumbbell range here and pair a set with this rack.
The rack stands 153cm tall on a base that is 70.5cm wide and 50cm deep, narrowing to around 11cm across near the top of the frame. Allow a clear floor area at least this size, plus some room around it to load and unload dumbbells.
This rack is designed for hex dumbbells. The exact compatible weight range is being confirmed with our supplier, contact our team on 1300 247 888 if you need this confirmed before ordering a matching set.
It suits both. The 70.5cm wide footprint works well in a home gym corner, and the steel A-frame is built to handle regular use in PT studios and commercial gyms as well.
Each dumbbell pair rests in its own angled notch along the two sloped rails of the A-frame, from the base up toward the apex. This keeps every pair visible and easy to identify by weight, rather than stacked or hidden from view.
Yes. The rack ships flat-packed with assembly hardware and instructions included. Estimated assembly time is being confirmed and will be updated on this page.

It depends on your space. This vertical rack has a footprint of only 70.5cm wide by 50cm deep, which suits home gyms and tighter studio corners, while a horizontal rack can be quicker to scan across a large commercial floor. If floor space is limited, a vertical A-frame rack is generally the more space-efficient option.
This rack holds up to 10 pairs of dumbbells across its angled storage tiers, from lighter warm-up pairs at the top down to heavier working weights at the base.
The frame is built from steel in an A-frame profile. Exact steel gauge and finish colour are being confirmed and will be added to the specifications table once verified.

A vinyl kettlebell has a solid cast iron core wrapped in a moulded vinyl coating, while a standard cast iron kettlebell is bare metal. The cast iron core means a vinyl kettlebell delivers the same true, accurate weight and solid feel — the difference is the protective shell. The vinyl coating protects your floors and equipment from chips and scratches, dampens noise on set-down, resists moisture and corrosion, and is colour-coded by weight for fast identification. Bare cast iron is generally preferred for outdoor use and hardcore drop zones, whereas vinyl kettlebells are the better choice for home gyms, apartments, PT studios and group fitness classes where floor protection, quieter training and quick weight selection matter most.
It depends on your training background and the exercise. As a general guide, beginners new to kettlebell training often start with 4kg to 8kg for learning technique on swings, goblet squats and presses. Many women start around 6–8kg and many men around 8–12kg for two-handed swings, then adjust based on the movement — pressing and single-arm work usually requires a lighter bell than two-handed swings or deadlifts. Because our vinyl kettlebells are sold individually and colour-coded, a common starter approach is to buy two or three weights (for example 8kg, 12kg and 16kg) so you have a lighter bell for technical lifts and a heavier one for ballistic work. If you are unsure, start lighter and master the movement pattern before progressing.
Yes — floor protection is one of the main reasons people choose vinyl over bare cast iron. The moulded vinyl coating cushions every contact between the kettlebell and the floor, which significantly reduces the risk of dents, scratches and chips on timber, tile, laminate and vinyl plank flooring. It also reduces noise on set-down, which is valuable in apartments and shared living spaces. That said, vinyl provides protection, not invincibility — we still recommend setting kettlebells down with control rather than dropping them, and for heavy training we suggest pairing them with rubber gym flooring for the best combination of floor and equipment protection.
Yes. Vinyl kettlebells are very well suited to PT studios, group fitness rooms and boutique gyms, where the colour-coding speeds up class flow and the vinyl coating protects studio flooring across repeated daily use. The solid cast iron core stands up to high-frequency commercial training. For a dedicated heavy strength or drop zone — where athletes are regularly dropping bells from overhead — many commercial facilities also stock competition-style steel or bare cast iron kettlebells alongside their vinyl range. For most functional, conditioning and group-class settings, however, the vinyl colour-coded range is the practical commercial choice. Contact us for bulk studio pricing across the full 4kg–24kg range.
Each weight in our range has its own dedicated colour so you can identify it at a glance: 4kg is Sky Blue, 6kg is Purple, 8kg is Yellow, 10kg is Red, 12kg is Green, 16kg is Navy Blue, 20kg is Orange and 24kg is Brown. This colour-coding is the key practical advantage of vinyl kettlebells in busy environments — in a group class an instructor can call a colour and the whole room finds the correct weight instantly, and in a shared home gym everyone can grab the right bell without checking engraved numbers. The colours are moulded into the vinyl coating rather than painted on, so they do not rub off with normal use.
Yes — vinyl kettlebells handle the full range of ballistic and grind movements including swings, cleans, snatches, presses, goblet squats and Turkish get-ups. The wide, smooth handle gives comfortable clearance for both one- and two-handed work and allows the bell to rotate around the forearm during cleans and snatches. For higher-rep snatch work some lifters prefer a competition-style kettlebell with a thinner, more standardised handle, but for general functional training, HIIT and strength circuits the vinyl kettlebell handle is comfortable and practical. As always, learn correct technique — particularly the hip hinge for swings — before progressing to heavier weights.
Budget kettlebells from general retailers and some department stores are often cement or concrete-filled with a thin plastic shell, which makes them physically larger for the same weight and gives them a different balance to a true cast iron kettlebell. Our vinyl kettlebells use a solid cast iron core, so the weight is dense, accurate and balanced for training, with a wide handle designed for kettlebell work rather than light home use. The result is a more compact, better-balanced bell that performs like a proper training kettlebell while still offering the floor protection and colour-coding benefits of a vinyl coating. For anyone training seriously rather than occasionally, the cast iron core makes a noticeable difference in feel and durability.
Vinyl kettlebells are very low-maintenance. Wipe the vinyl coating and handle with a damp cloth and a mild detergent to remove sweat, dust and chalk, then dry before storage. Avoid harsh chemical solvents, bleach and abrasive scourers, as these can degrade the vinyl over time. If you use chalk, brush loose chalk off the handle regularly. Store kettlebells on a flat surface or dedicated rack away from prolonged direct sunlight, which can fade vinyl over very long periods. With basic care, a vinyl-coated cast iron kettlebell will last for many years of regular training.
These vinyl kettlebells are sold individually, so you can build exactly the set you need rather than paying for weights you will not use. A beginner might start with a single 8kg, while a home gym owner might choose 8kg, 12kg and 16kg to cover light, medium and heavy work. PT studios and group fitness rooms often order multiples across the full 4kg–24kg range to equip a whole class. If you are putting together a multi-kettlebell order or a studio fitout, contact us on 1300 247 888 or WhatsApp for bulk pricing and a combined freight quote.

You can also collect free from our Milperra NSW warehouse (Mon–Fri 9am–5pm, Sat 9am–1pm), with depot pickup available in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra. What is a Plate Loaded Functional Trainer?
A plate loaded functional trainer is a strength training machine that uses Olympic weight plates instead of a fixed weight stack. This allows users to adjust resistance easily while performing cable exercises, Smith machine lifts, and functional strength movements. Plate loaded machines are commonly used in commercial gyms and advanced home gym setups because they provide higher maximum resistance and long term durability.

XG75 All-In-One Functional Trainer with Smith Machine Power Rack, Dual 90kg Cable System & 75×75×3mm Steel Frame | 10-Year Warranty | Australia
The XG75 All-In-One Functional Trainer with Smith Machine (previously known as the G25) is a commercial-grade multi-functional trainer that combines a functional cable trainer, a Smith machine with weight stack, and a power rack into a single heavy-duty frame. It features a selectorized dual 90kg pin-loaded weight stack system, a 34-position adjustable cable system, aluminium pulleys with sealed bearings and a chrome-plated 20kg Smith bar on solid hard-chromed guide rods — backed by a 10-year frame warranty and 12-month parts warranty.
Built from 75×75×3mm commercial-grade steel uprights with concealed welds throughout, the XG75 consolidates three separate training stations into a single 2m wide footprint — giving you full cable training, guided barbell work and power rack lifting without the cost or space of three individual machines.
The XG75 is on display at our Milperra NSW showroom and ships Australia-wide. If you are comparing multi-functional trainers for a home gym, PT studio or commercial facility in Australia, the XG75 is a strong starting point.
ℹ️This is the complete XG75 — power rack, guided Smith machine and dual 90kg cable functional trainer all included. Only need the rack, or the rack with Smith machine and no cables? See the XG75 Power Rack or XG75 Power Rack with Smith Machine.

The XG75 uses aluminium pulleys with sealed bearings for smooth, quiet and consistent cable movement. Aluminium offers greater rigidity and long-term durability than basic plastic pulley systems and requires minimal maintenance — no lubrication needed, and the sealed design keeps dust and grit out.

Why choose the XG75 over a cheaper all-in-one? Budget alternatives often use thinner-wall steel that can flex under sustained heavy loading. The XG75 uses commercial-grade 3mm wall thickness uprights with concealed welds throughout. The Smith bar runs on solid hard-chromed guide rods with linear bearings — not painted steel tubes. The result is a machine that handles daily multi-user gym use, backed by a 10-year frame warranty.

Who Is This Best For?
The Right Machine For
Serious home gym owners — replaces three separate training stations in a 2m wide footprint, backed by a 10-year frame warranty
PT studios and boutique gyms — 34 cable positions and Smith safety catches cover every client training style from one station
Commercial facilities and school gyms — commercial-grade 3mm steel frame and sealed-bearing pulleys built for daily multi-user heavy use
Strength and hypertrophy athletes — Smith machine for guided compound lifts plus dual 90kg stacks for cable work in one station
Rehabilitation and sport performance — 34 cable height positions allow precise loading angles for injury rehab and functional training
Anyone upgrading from a basic power rack — adds full functional trainer cable capability and guided Smith lifting without a second machine
Who should not buy the XG75? If you need a switchable 1:1/2:1 cable ratio or a fully modular system that can be expanded across multiple bays, a dedicated commercial multi-station unit may be a better fit. If your available space is under 3.5m × 3.5m or your ceiling height is below 2.4m, contact us before ordering — we can help you find the right machine for your room.
Worried about space, assembly or getting it home? The XG75 ships palletised Australia-wide on tracked heavy freight. Sydney Metro professional installation is available — our team assembles, levels and safety-checks the machine so it is ready to train on the same day. The XG75 uses aluminium pulleys with sealed bearings. Aluminium offers greater rigidity and long-term durability than basic plastic pulley systems and requires minimal maintenance. The sealed bearing design means no lubrication is needed and dust or grit cannot enter the bearing — resulting in smooth, consistent cable travel over the life of the machine.
The XG75 Smith machine uses solid hard-chromed guide rods (not painted hollow tubes), linear bearings for smooth bar travel with no lateral play, and chrome springs for shock absorption on the bar assembly. The bar is rated to 200kg and runs with safety locks at each position.
An all-in-one functional trainer with Smith machine combines a dual adjustable cable pulley system, a guided barbell station and a power rack in a single frame. The XG75 provides cable isolation work, guided barbell training and free-weight rack lifts from one station — ideal for home gyms, garage gyms and PT studios that cannot accommodate three separate machines.
The XG75 is well suited to both. The 10-year frame warranty and 12-month parts warranty cover home gym and commercial use. It is installed in home gyms, garage gyms, PT studios, school gyms and hotel fitness centres across Australia. The commercial-grade 3mm wall thickness means it is built beyond what most home gym users will ever demand of it.
The XG75 measures 2000mm (W) × 1500mm (D) × 2200mm (H). Allow a minimum 3.5m × 3.5m floor area for comfortable training with full cable range of motion and barbell loading clearance. Ceiling height should be at least 2.4m. A double garage provides ideal conditions for most customers. Contact us with your room dimensions if you are unsure.
A 1:1 cable ratio delivers the full stack weight to the handle, which suits heavy rows and pulldowns. A 2:1 ratio, used on the XG75, halves the resistance felt at the handle for smoother, higher-speed functional and isolation movements. The XG75 runs a fixed 2:1 ratio across its selectorized dual pin-loaded weight stack, optimised for controlled functional training. Maximum felt resistance per handle on the XG75 is 45kg (from 90kg stacks).
A selectorized dual stack multi-functional trainer like the XG75 uses a pin-loaded weight stack for fast adjustments between sets with no plate handling, which suits home gyms, PT studios and multi-user commercial environments. Plate-loaded towers require you to load your own Olympic plates between exercises, which suits lifters wanting resistance beyond a fixed stack ceiling. The XG75's selectorized dual 90kg pin-loaded weight stack (180kg total) covers the resistance range most home gym and studio users need without plate loading.
The XG75 includes 8 attachment types / 9 individual pieces: short straight bar, long dual cable bar, dual curl bar, lat pulldown bar, V-grip row handle, tricep rope, ankle strap and 2× single stirrup handles. Optional upgrades available separately: seated row footplate, lat pulldown and row seat, dip handles (160kg rated), jammer arms, leg press attachment, core trainer attachment, hip thruster bench, low row foot plate and barbell storage attachments. Call 1300 247 888 for availability.
The 10-year frame warranty covers the structural integrity of the XG75's steel uprights and frame against bending, cracking or failure under normal use. The 12-month parts warranty covers pulleys, cables, attachments, bearings and hardware. Both cover home gym and commercial use. Contact us on 1300 247 888 or WhatsApp +61 412 029 000 for warranty claims.

All three share the same 75×75×3mm commercial steel frame. The XG75 Power Rack is free-weight only — no Smith machine, no cables. The XG75 Power Rack with Smith Machine adds a guided Smith bar but no cable functional trainer. This page, the XG75 (complete), includes all three: power rack, guided Smith machine and dual 90kg pin-loaded cable functional trainer. Choose based on which training styles you need — call 1300 247 888 if you're unsure.
For most training goals, yes. The XG75 covers guided barbell work (Smith machine), cable training (functional trainer) and free-weight rack lifts (power rack) from one frame, with 9 included attachments covering presses, pulls, curls and core work. To round out a complete home gym most buyers also add an adjustable bench, an Olympic barbell and weight plates for Smith and rack training, plus rubber flooring to protect the floor.
The XG75 ships with everything needed for cable, Smith and rack training. To use the Smith machine and power rack for free-weight lifts, you'll need an Olympic barbell and weight plates (not included). Most buyers also add an adjustable bench for flat, incline and seated pressing, and rubber gym flooring to protect the floor and reduce noise.
Yes — it's built specifically for this. The XG75 replaces three separate machines (functional trainer, Smith machine, power rack) in a single 2m-wide footprint, backed by a 10-year frame warranty and commercial-grade 3mm steel construction. For home gym owners with limited space who still want full training variety, this is exactly the problem the XG75 is designed to solve.
Across the Smith machine, cable functional trainer and power rack, the XG75 covers 30+ distinct exercise variations spanning chest, back, legs, shoulders, arms and core — see the full exercise library above. Between the 34 cable height positions and the 9 included attachments, most full-body training programs can run without needing a second machine.
Not essential, but useful as an add-on. The XG75 covers guided barbell work (Smith), cable isolation (functional trainer) and free-weight rack lifts. Dumbbells aren't required to use any of these, but many buyers add a set for single-arm and unilateral exercises that a fixed cable or guided bar can't fully replicate. Call 1300 247 888 if you'd like recommendations based on your training goals.

The XF10 All-in-One Functional Trainer with Smith Machine is a compact, commercial-grade strength station built for home and commercial gyms, PT studios and space-conscious facilities across Australia. As an All-In-One Trainer with Smith Machine, it pairs Dual Weight Stacks with a guided Smith bar, giving you Fast Weight Selection at a single pin instead of manually loading plates. Built into a footprint of approximately 2200mm × 1800mm, it brings commercial-grade training variety to spaces that could not otherwise fit three separate machines.
Beyond speed, what buyers notice most is the Smooth Adjustability. Commercial linear bearings, hard chrome-plated guide rods and aluminium alloy pulleys work together so the Smith bar and cables travel evenly under load, with no jerking or grinding through the movement. The XF10 is ideal for anyone searching for an all-in-one functional trainer with Smith machine for a home or commercial gym, combining commercial-grade construction, fast weight selection and a compact footprint in one machine.

What the XF10 Replaces
①Functional TrainerDual pin-loaded stacks with adjustable pulleys for presses, rows, flyes, arms, shoulders, rehab and 200+ cable exercise variations
②Selectorised Smith MachineGuided bar connected to the weight stacks for squats, bench, overhead press and hip thrusts — change load with a pin, no plates needed
③Pull-Up StationMulti-grip chin-up bar plus rack functionality for bodyweight and assisted upper-body training
The real value of the XF10: instead of buying a separate functional trainer, separate Smith machine and separate rack station, you get all three in one frame — less floor space, fewer delivery costs, less assembly time and a far cleaner training environment for home or commercial use.
XF10 All-in-One Functional Trainer with Smith Machine — Overview
Selectorised vs Plate-Loaded
XF10 vs Plate-Loaded Smith Machines
The biggest difference between the XF10 and a conventional Smith machine is how resistance is applied. A plate-loaded Smith requires you to manually load and unload weight plates between sets; the XF10's guided bar connects directly to the pin-loaded stacks, so resistance changes in seconds with one pin. That one design choice changes the entire training experience.

Very heavy powerlifting maxes
Efficient, varied, high-turnover training
Who benefits most from the XF10's selectorised design: PT studios running back-to-back clients, shared home and household gyms, circuit and superset training, and anyone who values training efficiency and a clutter-free space. Plate-loaded systems still offer the highest absolute ceiling for powerlifting maxes — and the XF10 keeps that option available since plate use remains possible if you want it.
All-In-One vs Single-Purpose
XF10 vs a Traditional Power Rack
A traditional power rack is excellent for free-barbell work, but it does one job. The XF10 keeps guided barbell training and adds an integrated dual-cable system and pull-up station — turning a single-purpose footprint into a complete training station.

If your priority is purely heavy free-barbell powerlifting, a dedicated rack and barbell may be the right starting point. If you want maximum training variety from a minimum footprint — covering compound strength, cable hypertrophy and functional work in one place — the XF10 is the more versatile, space-efficient choice.
Space Efficiency
Why a Selectorised Smith Machine Saves Space
Selectorised loading is one of the most practical ways to reclaim room in a home or commercial gym. Here is why a stack-connected Smith machine like the XF10 takes up less space and stays better organised than a plate-loaded equivalent.
No Plate Storage Required The stacks live inside the frame — no plate trees or loose weights eating into your floor area.
Cleaner Setup Nothing scattered around the base — a tidier, safer, more professional-looking training space.
Reduced Machine Width Without loaded plate horns sticking out, the working footprint stays tighter against the wall.
Faster Workouts Pin changes take seconds — you spend time training rather than re-racking plates between sets.
Seamless Exercise Transitions Move from a Smith lift to a cable movement without clearing or reloading the bar first.
Simpler Organisation Fewer loose parts to manage — ideal for shared spaces and multi-user studios.

Smooth Adjustability Aluminium alloy pulleys with crossover swivels give smoother cable travel, quieter operation and long-term durability — a significant upgrade over nylon pulleys.
Commercial Linear Bearings on Smith Bar The guided bar travels on commercial linear bearings along hard chrome guide rods, adding to the machine's overall Smooth Adjustability under heavy loads.
Hard Chrome-Plated Guide Rods Solid hard chrome rods for smooth long-term performance, scratch resistance and corrosion protection.
Nylon-Coated Steel Cables Heavy-duty steel cables with protective nylon coating for noise reduction, smoother feel and extended durability.
Multi-Grip Pull-Up Station Wide, narrow and neutral grips for upper back, lats, arms and core development.
Space-Efficient Combined Footprint Three complete training stations in one frame — maximises usable floor space in home gyms and studio fitouts.
Engineering and Build Quality
The XF10 is built on a 3mm commercial-grade steel frame — the same wall thickness used in entry-to-mid commercial equipment. The Smith bar travels on commercial linear bearings running on solid hard chrome-plated guide rods, giving near-zero resistance and consistent smooth movement under heavy loads. Cable pulleys are aluminium alloy with crossover swivels, not nylon, which significantly reduces noise, extends service life and improves feel across thousands of reps.
Smooth Adjustability on the XF10 comes from three components working together rather than any single part. The linear bearings remove the small amount of side-to-side play that causes a bar to feel gritty on cheaper Smith machines, so the bar tracks in a straight, even line from the bottom of the movement to the top. The hard chrome guide rods give that bearing a hardened, corrosion-resistant surface to run on, which keeps the glide consistent as the machine ages rather than roughening up after months of use. On the cable side, the aluminium alloy pulleys and nylon-coated cables reduce the friction and vibration you get from nylon pulleys and bare steel cable, so pin changes and cable pulls feel controlled rather than jerky, even under heavier loads.

Training With the XF10
Programming for Every Goal
Strength and Powerbuilding
Use the guided Smith bar for heavy compound work — squats, bench and overhead presses — where the fixed bar path lets you push close to failure safely on your own. Anchor each session around 3 to 5 compound sets, then move straight to the cables for accessory volume without re-racking.
Hypertrophy and Bodybuilding
The dual cable attachments deliver constant tension that free weights cannot replicate — ideal for chest flyes, lateral raises, pressdowns and rows. Fast pin changes make drop sets and supersets seamless, which is a real advantage for high-volume hypertrophy training.
Functional Fitness and Athletic Training
Adjustable pulley heights open up rotational, single-arm and anti-rotation patterns for core stability and sport-specific power — woodchops, Pallof presses and cable pull-throughs all run from the same station.
Rehab and Controlled-Movement Training
The smooth cable resistance and guided Smith path suit controlled, low-impact rehabilitation and prehab work, allowing precise loading angles under supervision. Pair it with an adjustable bench to expand seated and supported movements.
PT Studio Programming
For personal trainers, the selectorised loading is the key advantage — you can move a client through a full circuit, adjusting resistance instantly between exercises without breaking flow to load plates. One station covers strength, cable and bodyweight work for back-to-back client sessions.

Who Should Not Buy the XF10
The XF10 is probably not the right choice if your primary goal is maximum-weight free-barbell powerlifting — a dedicated power rack with a barbell and bumper plates will give you a higher absolute load ceiling and the freedom of an unguided bar. It is also not suitable if your ceiling is below 2.3m, or if you are looking for a budget entry-level machine. The XF10 is a commercial-grade station priced accordingly — if your training needs are light or occasional, a simpler setup may be a more practical starting point.
The Problem: most home gyms and small PT studios end up with a power rack that only does one thing, a separate cable machine that takes up additional space, and still no guided bar for safe solo compound work. The result is a cluttered, expensive, multi-machine setup that most spaces cannot comfortably fit.
The XF10 Solution: one frame, one delivery, one assembly. A selectorised Smith machine for guided compound lifts, dual weight stacks for isolation and functional work, and a multi-grip pull-up station — all in a footprint that fits where a single power rack would sit.

For speed, space efficiency and a clean setup, yes. The XF10's selectorised Smith bar runs on the pin-loaded stacks, so you change resistance in seconds instead of loading plates — meaning faster transitions, no plate storage, less clutter and a tidier gym. Plate-loaded systems offer a higher absolute maximum for powerlifting; the XF10 keeps that option open since plate use is possible, but for efficient varied training the selectorised design wins.
No. The Smith bar is connected directly to the dual pin-loaded weight stacks, so no plates are required — you select resistance with a pin. Plate use remains optional for those who specifically want it.
Yes. It combines a Smith machine, dual cable trainer and pull-up station in a compact footprint of approximately 2,200mm × 1,800mm with a 2.3m minimum ceiling. Because the stacks eliminate the need for loose plate storage, it is well suited to apartment, garage and space-limited setups that still want commercial-grade capability.
A minimum of approximately 2.3m is recommended for safe pull-up clearance and overhead press movements — the machine stands around 2.2m tall. Always measure your space and allow for clearance above the machine before ordering. Contact us on 1300 247 888 if you are unsure.
Yes. The XF10 is built on a 3mm commercial-grade steel frame with aluminium alloy pulleys, hard chrome guide rods and independently load-tested components. Fast weight selection and a compact footprint make it a practical choice for PT studios, boutique facilities and commercial spaces with limited floor area.
Very smooth, by design. The Smith bar runs on commercial linear bearings along solid hard chrome-plated guide rods, giving near-zero-resistance, consistent travel through the full range of motion. The cable side uses aluminium alloy pulleys with crossover swivels rather than nylon, plus nylon-coated steel cables, so the pull feels even and quiet rather than jerky or grinding. Together these components are what give the XF10 its smooth adjustability: pin changes are quick, the bar and cables track cleanly, and heavier loads still move without noticeable drag.
Yes — it is on display at our Milperra showroom in Sydney. You can inspect the frame, test the cables and feel the Smith bar before committing. Open Monday to Friday 9am–5pm. Saturday visits are by appointment only — call 1300 247 888 or WhatsApp +61 412 029 000 to book. We are at 10/202 Milperra Road, Milperra NSW 2214.
The XF10 carries a 10-year structural frame warranty, 12 months on cables and pulleys, and 3 months on attachments and hardware — all against manufacturing defects under normal use. Damage from misuse, outdoor exposure, incorrect assembly or modification is not covered. Full warranty terms are supplied with every order. Call 1300 247 888 with any pre-purchase questions.
Yes. It replaces a standalone Smith machine, a dual weight stack functional trainer and a multi-grip pull-up and rack station — three separate machines in one frame. This saves significant floor space, reduces delivery and assembly costs, and keeps your training environment organised.
Yes. The dual weight stacks deliver precise, controlled isolation and constant cable tension — ideal for chest flyes, lateral raises, pressdowns, rows and curls. The guided Smith machine supports heavy compound work. Fast weight selection makes drop sets, supersets and high-volume training efficient and seamless.
Yes. The XF10 ships to metro and regional areas across Australia via tracked heavy freight, palletised for safe transit. Sydney metro customers can also arrange professional assembly and installation. Contact us on 1300 247 888 for a freight quote to your postcode.
The XF10 ships ready to train from day one — the included attachments cover a full range of Smith, cable and pull-up exercises. To get the most from it, most users add an adjustable bench for flat, incline and decline Smith and cable work. Rubber gym flooring is also recommended to protect your floor and reduce noise. Optional add-ons like a leg press attachment, jammer arms or extra cable handles are available — call 1300 247 888 for details.
Assembly is possible with two people and typically takes 4 to 6 hours. Detailed instructions are supplied with the machine. For Sydney metro customers, professional assembly and installation is available — contact us after placing your order. We recommend having at least one experienced person involved in the assembly process given the machine's size and weight.
The XF10 sits in the commercial-grade price tier — it is not the cheapest all-in-one machine available in Australia, and it is not intended to be. The 3mm steel frame, aluminium alloy pulleys, hard chrome guide rods, load-tested components and 10-year frame warranty represent a significant build quality step above budget alternatives. For buyers who intend to train on it regularly and want a machine that will last, it represents strong long-term value. If your training is light or occasional, a lower-cost option may suit your needs.
Fast weight selection comes from the selectorised design. On a plate-loaded Smith machine, you manually load and unload weight plates onto the bar between sets. On the XF10, the guided bar connects directly to the pin-loaded weight stacks, so resistance changes by moving a single pin, which takes seconds. This means no plates to store, no clutter around the machine, and significantly faster transitions between exercises, which matters most in high-turnover training environments such as PT studios and circuit-style sessions.
XF10 Delivery Areas — Australia: 247 Gym Equipment delivers the XF10 All-in-One Functional Trainer with Smith Machine to customers across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Wollongong, Hobart, Geelong, Sunshine Coast, Townsville, Cairns and all regional areas of Australia via tracked heavy freight. Olympic vs Standard Barbells Olympic barbells use a 50mm sleeve, designed for Olympic plates and bumper plates. Standard bars use a narrower sleeve and are not compatible. For any serious training or gym setup in Australia, a 20kg Olympic barbell is the industry standard. Standard bars are unsuitable for heavy loading and have limited long-term compatibility.
Training Style and Bar Specification Olympic lifting and CrossFit benefit from a 28–28.5mm shaft with needle bearings for smooth rotation during cleans, snatches, and jerks. Powerlifting favours a stiffer bar with more aggressive knurling for squats, deadlifts, and bench press. This bar's 28mm shaft and needle bearings make it the stronger choice for versatile or Olympic-oriented training.
Budget and Build Quality in Australia Entry-level 20kg Olympic barbells typically start from AUD $100–$250 for light home use. Mid-range bars with needle bearings run $300–$500. Commercial-grade bars like this one — with 190,000 PSI steel, needle bearings, and high load ratings — represent a long-term investment with a significantly extended service life.
Finish and Corrosion Resistance Black zinc offers solid corrosion resistance at a practical price point and is the most common finish in Australian gym environments. Hard chrome and Cerakote offer greater protection at a higher price premium. For most gym settings, black zinc is the balanced choice.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this barbell suitable for CrossFit and Olympic lifting?
Yes. The 28mm shaft and 8 needle bearing rotation are engineered for Olympic lifts — cleans, snatches, and jerks — as well as high-repetition functional training in CrossFit programming. No centre knurl prevents abrasion in clean and front rack positions.
What does the 1,500lb / 680kg rating mean in practice?
The load rating reflects the bar's structural limit under static load. Most users will never approach this weight. The high rating primarily indicates long-term durability — the bar resists permanent bending under repeated heavy use in a commercial environment over many years.
Will this bar fit my power rack and weight plates?
Yes. This is a full-size 2.2m Olympic barbell with 50mm sleeves, compatible with all Australian power racks, squat stands, bumper plates, and Olympic weight plates. If your rack was built for an Olympic barbell, this bar will fit.
What is the standard weight of an Olympic barbell?
The standard men's Olympic barbell weighs 20kg. The standard women's Olympic barbell weighs 15kg with a 25mm shaft. Both use 50mm Olympic sleeves compatible with all standard plates and bumper plates.
Where can I buy this barbell in Sydney?
Inspect and purchase in person at our Milperra NSW showroom — 10/202 Milperra Road, Milperra NSW 2214. We serve customers from Bankstown, Liverpool, Parramatta, and Greater Western Sydney, and ship Australia-wide with fast metro delivery.
What features make a barbell durable long-term?
Key factors: tensile strength of 190,000 PSI or higher, a needle bearing rotation system, consistent well-cut knurling, a corrosion-resistant finish (black zinc, hard chrome, or Cerakote), and a commercial-grade load rating of 680kg or above.
How much should I spend on a quality Olympic barbell in Australia?
Reliable home-use bars start around AUD $100–$250. Mid-range commercial options with needle bearings sit in the $300–$500 range. Premium bars with highest-grade steel and Cerakote or hard chrome finishes exceed $600. Higher spend delivers better spin quality, finish durability, and a significantly longer service life.

The Commercial Olympic EZ Curl Bar — 28mm Knurled Grip, 180kg, 50mm Olympic Sleeves — also called an Olympic EZ bar, cambered barbell, bicep curl bar, skull crusher barbell or preacher curl bar — is built for serious arm training in home gyms, PT studios and commercial facilities across Australia. The 28mm knurled grip provides a secure, slip-free hold across all hand sizes. The 50mm Olympic sleeves fit all standard Olympic plates without adapters and rack on any standard power rack. With a 180kg load capacity and hard chrome finish, the angled cambered design places your wrists in a semi-supinated, natural position — reducing joint stress during bicep curls, tricep extensions and skull crushers compared to a straight bar. At 1400mm total length and 13.6kg, it is rackable on all standard power racks.

Why the cambered EZ bar grip matters for wrist and elbow health:
A straight bar forces full supination (palms completely up) throughout the entire curl — a position the radioulnar joint handles poorly under heavy loads, especially for lifters with pre-existing wrist or elbow sensitivity. The EZ Curl Bar's angled cambered design keeps your wrists in a semi-supinated, neutral position — the same grip angle sports medicine professionals recommend. This is why the EZ bar is the default curl bar in most commercial gyms, and why most experienced lifters choose it for skull crushers over a straight bar.

This directly reduces torque on the wrist and elbow joints — the primary mechanical reason EZ bars are recommended over straight bars for high-volume arm training.
02
28mm Knurled Grip — Secure Without Skin DamageMedium-aggressive knurling provides a confident, slip-free grip during high-rep curl sets and heavy skull crusher work. 28mm is the standard commercial curl bar grip diameter — comfortable across all hand sizes without tearing skin on long training sessions.
03
50mm Olympic Sleeves — True Olympic CompatibilityFits all standard Olympic weight plates, bumper plates and rubber-coated plates without adapters. Rackable on all power racks and squat stands with 50mm J-hooks. This is a genuine Olympic EZ curl bar — not a non-Olympic imitation that requires plate adapters.
04
Hard Chrome Finish — Corrosion ResistantFull hard chrome across shaft and sleeves provides long-term corrosion resistance under Australian conditions — coastal humidity, high-sweat commercial gym environments and garage gyms with temperature variation. Wipes clean, resists pitting and maintains appearance under daily use.

Buying Guide
EZ Curl Bar vs Straight Bar — and Olympic vs Standard
Standard vs Olympic EZ curl bar — what is the difference?
A standard EZ curl bar uses 25–30mm sleeves and does not fit Olympic plates or power rack J-hooks without adapters. This is a 50mm Olympic EZ curl bar — the global standard. It fits all Olympic weight plates and racks on any standard power rack. If you own Olympic plates, you need an Olympic EZ curl bar.
Factor

Wrist Position During Curls
Semi-supinated — natural, comfortable
Fully supinated — stress on wrist/elbow
Elbow Joint Stress
Lower — angled grip reduces torque
Higher — especially at heavy loads
Peak Bicep Activation
Slightly reduced supination
Maximum supination = slightly higher peak activation
Skull Crushers
More comfortable — preferred grip for most lifters

Training Applications
Exercises for the Olympic EZ Curl Bar
💪
EZ Bar Bicep CurlThe primary use — semi-supinated cambered grip reduces wrist strain while maintaining strong bicep engagement through the full range
💀
Skull Crushers (Lying Tricep Extension)The EZ bar is the preferred skull crusher barbell — the cambered grip is significantly more comfortable at heavy loads than a straight bar
🏋️
Preacher CurlOn a preacher curl bench, the EZ bar's angled grip maintains a natural wrist position for full range of motion without hyperextension at the bottom
🔄
Reverse CurlPronated grip targets the brachialis, brachioradialis and forearm extensors — the EZ cambered angle reduces wrist fatigue during reverse curl sets
🔽
Overhead Tricep ExtensionStanding or seated overhead extension for long-head tricep development — EZ grip eliminates wrist discomfort throughout the overhead range
🔼
Upright RowTargets traps and medial deltoids — narrow cambered grip is more comfortable than straight bar for most lifters during upright rows
🏗️
Close-Grip Bench Press (from Rack)Rackable on all power racks — the 1400mm length and 50mm sleeves allow close-grip pressing directly from J-hooks for heavy tricep development
🔧
Cable Attachment Curl / PushdownConnect to functional trainer or cable machine via clip attachment for guided EZ bar cable curls and tricep pushdowns with the ergonomic cambered grip
Who Is This For?
The Right Bar For
Lifters with wrist or elbow pain from straight bar curls — the semi-supinated cambered grip directly reduces torque on the radioulnar joint; this is the most commonly cited reason experienced lifters switch from a straight bar to an EZ curl bar
Beginners building their first arm training routine — the angled grip is more forgiving from day one, allowing correct form and muscle focus without fighting through joint discomfort
Advanced lifters running heavy skull crusher programming — 180kg capacity handles serious tricep overload work; the EZ grip is the preferred skull crusher barbell for heavy tricep training
PT studios and commercial facilities — hard chrome construction rated for daily multi-client use; the most commonly specified arm training bar in Australian commercial gym fitouts
Home gym owners on Olympic plate systems — true 50mm Olympic sleeves mean no adapters needed; compatible with all Olympic plates, bumper plates and standard power racks already in your setup
Athletes transitioning from cable curls to free weight curls — the EZ bar's natural wrist position closely matches the cable curl grip angle, making the movement pattern transfer easier

Frequently Asked Questions
Common Questions — EZ Curl Bar Australia
An EZ curl bar (also called an Olympic EZ bar, cambered barbell or bicep curl bar) is used for bicep curls, skull crushers (lying tricep extensions), preacher curls, reverse curls, overhead tricep extensions, upright rows and close-grip pressing. The cambered angled grip reduces wrist and elbow stress compared to a straight bar, making it suitable for high-volume arm training and heavy tricep work.
For most lifters, yes. The EZ curl bar's cambered grip places the wrist in a semi-supinated, natural position — reducing torque on the wrist and elbow joints during curls and extensions. A straight bar forces full supination throughout the lift, which produces greater wrist and elbow stress at heavy loads. While a straight bar may offer marginally higher peak bicep activation due to full supination, the EZ bar allows more consistent training volume without joint fatigue, which produces better results over time for most people. For lifters with wrist or elbow issues, the EZ bar is strongly preferred.
A standard EZ curl bar uses 25–30mm sleeves designed for standard (non-Olympic) 1-inch plates. It is not compatible with Olympic plates or power rack J-hooks without adapters. An Olympic EZ curl bar uses 50mm sleeves — the global standard for Olympic barbells. It fits all Olympic weight plates, bumper plates and rubber-coated plates without adapters, and racks on all standard power racks. This product is an Olympic EZ curl bar with 50mm sleeves.
This Olympic EZ curl bar weighs 13.6kg. This is heavier than standard non-Olympic EZ bars (which typically weigh 7–10kg) due to the Olympic 50mm sleeve construction and the longer 1400mm bar length. Factor this into your loaded weight calculations — a pair of 10kg plates + 13.6kg bar = 33.6kg total.
Yes. At 1400mm total length with 50mm Olympic sleeves, this bar is rackable on all standard power racks, squat stands and half racks with standard J-hooks. It can be used for close-grip bench press, skull crushers and preacher curls directly from a rack without any adapters or modifications.
This bar has a 180kg maximum load capacity — well beyond the working loads used for arm training at any level. This capacity makes it suitable for heavy skull crusher barbell work, close-grip pressing and any other loaded movements where progressive overload calls for significant plate loading.
Yes. Many lifters attach EZ curl bars to cable machines and functional trainers using a clip attachment for cable EZ bar curls and tricep pushdowns — giving you the ergonomic cambered grip angle during guided cable movements. On a Smith machine, the bar can be used for guided curls and skull crushers where the Smith bar path suits the movement.
Yes. The hard chrome finish is specifically suited to Australian conditions — including the coastal humidity of QLD, northern NSW and WA where uncoated or poorly finished bars rust quickly. The chrome finish resists pitting and surface oxidation under regular exposure to sweat and humidity. Store the bar on a barbell rack or J-hooks when not in use rather than leaving it on damp concrete to maximise longevity.
